Last October, 40 class PNV19 students graduated, becoming the first class to complete PN Vietnam’s new three-year training program. Eight months on, we are reaching out again to see how they are doing, and how PN has had a positive initial impact on their lives. We are glad to present heartwarming stories from three of our class 2019 alumni: NGUYEN Hong Phong (left), NGUYEN Thi Hang (middle), NGUYEN Van Cu (right).
Before launching the three-year training program, PN Vietnam had conducted a rigorous market study and consulted partners to understand the needs, demands and new trends from employers and the IT market. After that, we upgraded our program to equip students even better with knowledge and skills necessary for their employability. As a result, over 95% of graduates from the first promotion of this training program found a job less than 3 months after graduating. Most of them now work in Software Testing, Mobile Software Development or Web Development, the most popular specializations at PN Vietnam. The holistic approach of PNV training and education has greatly molded our alumni for the job market.
“At PN Vietnam, I learned a lot of skills and knowledge, some of which I think are very useful for my career. I specialized in Mobile Software Development, but I was also trained in Web Development, which is what I am now doing. Personal and Professional Life skills like communication, planning, financial management, too, are extremely beneficial to my daily life and career mobility.”

“The internships offered me a good opportunity to gear up for my job. They introduced me to a professional working environment, i.e. working with professional developers in a company, and afforded me valuable experience before graduation. I did face some difficulties after graduating but I still believe I was well prepared for that thanks to the lessons at PNV. They made me more proactive dealing with problems, and thus able to resolve and overcome them more easily.”
NGUYEN Thi Hang, PNV Class 2019Like most of their peers, PNV2019 graduates also had to face reality and some challenges when adapting to a new environment after graduating. However, the skills and knowledge gained from PN Vietnam have helped them better overcome these obstacles, as illustrated by Hang’s experience.
Eight months after graduation, the vast majority of our PNV2019 alumni have fully adapted to their new lives and become financially independent. All of them have been able to support their families in one way or another. Hang now supports her brothers’ education expenses; Phong sends some of his monthly salary to his parents; while Cu has been able to renovate his family home, which plays an important role in his life.
