The vision that brings us together
- a world where the future generations will massively get out of poverty through education and employment.
- a world where all underprivileged young people can develop themselves thanks to their talent, and obtain their passport for a better future.
...we can achieve it!Passerelles Numériques (Digital Bridges) brings young people from poor backgrounds towards a qualified job in a promising area, and gives these young people a real opportunity to become actors in the development of their country. The complete success of the pilot project
100% of the 20 first students of CIST immediately found a qualified employment, with a real salary which benefits a whole family. Today CIST is training 153 students and will now welcome 100 more each year. Savin Preap was part of this pilot promotion of CIST. She grew up in a military camp on the edge of Phnom Penh's garbage dump. After a 2-year training at CIST, Savin graduated as a Systems and Networks Administrator. She rapidly found a job as an administrative assistant at the Intercontinental Hotel of Phnom Penh. |
...can be shared by many others:- we do no more than revealing the development potential that lies in these young people
- we develop approaches that are pragmatic, rigorous and replicable, adapted to each local situation
- we thus prove that investing strongly in education is humanly and socially "profitable"
- young people from underprivileged backgrounds in Asia to access studies which lead to a job and a future for themselves and their families
- our professional teams to develop innovative approaches (Third Stage Development) which tomorrow will be leveraged to fight poverty in an efficient and sustainable manner
… from 2012 on, 1000 young people each year to break the circle of poverty
